Case Study - The Warehouse clothing stillages

In 2004 Rotaform was asked to provide a quote for the supply of its Rhino foldable crates to compare with the incumbent injection moulded product. 

The stillages are used to ship clothing from The Warehouse’s Apparel Distribution Centre (ADC) in Auckland to all The Warehouse stores throughout New Zealand. They are sent via Toll Distribution on Trucks and the rail network.

Rotaform could demonstrate a cheaper total cost of ownership through far lower rates of breakages and reduced maintenance costs.

Rotaform supplies the stillages with unique bar codes on each unit printed onto a water resistant polymer sheet and placed behind polycarbonate pocket, which allows The Warehouse to track them.
